According to officials and eyewitnesses, the group encountered heavy security arrangements at the interstate border, where police personnel had established multiple layers of barricades to regulate movement. As the situation escalated, members of the group reportedly engaged in a confrontation with security personnel before pushing through the barricades and entering Uttarakhand.
Visuals from the scene showed the Kulhal–Vikasnagar border transformed into a high-security zone, with a significant deployment of police forces equipped with riot-control gear.
